How do pearls form?

Pearls are the only gemstone variety that can be directly set and worn without any cutting or polishing. When bivalve mollusks in seawater or freshwater encounter foreign objects, their mantle membranes are stimulated and continuously secrete pearl substance, which encapsulates the foreign objects layer by layer. Over a long period of time, pearls are formed.

 Natural pearls are called "natural pearls", while cultured pearls are simply referred to as "pearls". Seawater-cultured pearls are simply called "seawater pearls", and freshwater-cultured pearls are simply called "freshwater pearls". Currently, the vast majority of pearls are cultured pearls. 

Do you know whose "mother" your pearls are? Pearls are the miraculous creations of mollusks using their lives. When a grain of sand enters their bodies, they embrace it with their soft embrace and, over a lifetime, silently envelop it into a smooth and lustrous form. 

The Australian White pearls come from the white butterfly shellfish in the deep sea, the South Asian Golden Pearls come from the mysterious golden butterfly shellfish, the Tahitian Pearls come from the special black butterfly shellfish, the Ma Bead Pearls come from the strong penguin shellfish, the Akoya Pearls come from the elegant Matsu shellfish mother, and the even rarer abalone pearls, Meiluo pearls, Kongke pearls, their mothers are the abalone shells, the Meiluo snails, and the Queen Phoenix snails. 

They were not born to bear pearls, but due to an unexpected intrusion, they sacrificed their entire lives. This is much like those mothers who give everything for us, even beyond their own capabilities. Women are weak by nature, but when they become mothers, they become strong.
